FAQs

If you have any other questions which aren't covered here please feel free to contact us and we'll happily get back to you as soon as we can.

Where are you based and are you willing to travel?

We are based in Glasgow and we frequently play throughout Central Scotland. As a guide, we are willing to travel approximately 70 miles to play. We may be willing to travel farther, so please feel free to contact us to discuss.

Can we see you perform prior to booking?

Yes, we perform at showcases throughout the year where interested parties can come and see us. We are also happy to invite you to our rehearsal studio where you can watch us play.

How long do you play for?

Our set typically starts at 8pm and ends at midnight, taking a half hour break during the buffet.

Can you learn our first dance for us?

Yes, we are more than happy to take requests for the first dance. We ask that your song choice is given to us at least 6 weeks before the wedding.

What happens during your break?

During the break we will play music from a CD or iPod at a moderate volume, allowing your guests to converse and enjoy the buffet. If you wish to provide a CD or iPod to be played during the interval we are happy to accommodate.

What happens if one of the band members falls ill?

In the unlikely event that a member of the band is unable to play, we have numerous experienced musicians from other wedding bands who could stand in.

How long do the band require to set up?

We always arrive at least an hour before we are due to start playing. Being a live act, we will require 45 minutes to set up.

Can the band provide a Ceilidh set?

Yes, we can provide a short Ceilidh set and also call the dances. Normally the ceilidh takes place after the buffet and while being entirely optional, we've found that having a short ceilidh is great for getting the guests back up dancing after eating.
